Think before you swap.

The vault

Match-three rules with more reason to plan.

Basalt Vault combines familiar tile matching with a move-limited structure. Every swap changes the board, so strong runs come from planning ahead, setting up combinations and recognizing opportunities before spending another move.

01

Limited moves

Every level gives you a finite number of actions, making each swap part of a larger solution.

02 🎨

Glowing symbols

Distinct stone icons and vivid colors keep the board readable while matches burst into satisfying cascades.

03 📈

Deeper puzzles

New levels introduce harder layouts, different goals and fresh obstacles as you descend through the vault.

04 🏆

Visible progress

Clear objectives, special tiles and scoring feedback make each completed puzzle feel like another chamber unlocked.

How a level unfolds

Four decisions between entry and unlock.

01

Swap

Move two neighboring tiles to rearrange the board and create a stronger position.

02

Match

Align three or more identical colors or symbols horizontally or vertically to clear them.

03

Complete

Work toward the chamber objective: reach a score, collect required symbols or remove obstacles.

04

Preserve

Spend your remaining moves carefully and use cascades or larger combinations to gain more value from each action.

Not every chamber asks the same thing

The goal changes how you read the board.

A strong move is not simply the largest match. Some levels reward raw score, some require specific symbols and others ask you to remove blockers before the move counter reaches zero.

🎯
Reach the target Build enough score before the final move.
Collect symbols Match the required tile types to complete the objective.
Clear obstacles Break through blockers while protecting your move budget.
Special combinations

Bigger matches create bigger opportunities.

Four- and five-tile combinations can produce special effects and bonus moves, giving you additional ways to recover from a difficult board and extend a promising run.

🧠

Easy to understand. Difficult to solve perfectly.

The basic interaction takes seconds to learn, but move limits reward players who think several swaps ahead. The result is a puzzle loop that works for quick sessions while still giving experienced players room to optimize.

A few details about special combinations, offline play and failed attempts.

How can I earn more moves?

Creating larger combinations, such as four- or five-tile matches, can generate bonus moves and special effects that help clear more of the board.

Can Basalt Vault be played offline?

Yes. Once installed, the game can be played without requiring an active internet connection.

What happens when I run out of moves?

If the objective has not been completed, the level remains unfinished. You can restart the puzzle or use the available continue option for additional moves.
